For My Grandfather!!

My grandfather passed away on Jan 24th 2008 in the early hours of the morning at the age of 91. He was a very loving ,caring and cheerful person..
I had grew with my grandparents till I was almost six years. The only memories I have of those days are the times when i used to go around with my sitting on his cycle.I rememeber how i used to trouble my grandmother to carry me from my nursery school to home. Also of those days when there used to be paddy feild in front of our home and people used to come to cut and get the paddy into rice..
My grandfather loved sweets, chocolates and he always used to get us chocolates everytime he went out, even days before he passed away.
I cant imagine the house without seeing him on the chair in the front porch of our house.
But God takes away people he loves most fast. And I hope and pray that his soul is resting in peace. And I am so glad that he took the shirt I bought for him when he left this earth...

Memories....Last forever!

Ham rahe na rahe kal...Kal yad ayye yeh pal..!!(whether we are there or not tomorrow, we will remember these moments tomorrow)
These are the words from KK's album "Pal". Its a song that takes me back over the years...over all those memories...School, college, life...the people that I came across..people that are still part of my life and that are not..Each person is a part of the canvas for that moment of my life which we spend together.Sometimes I dream I can go back in time and change a lot of things in life.Go back to school and enjoy those classes and those moments with friends...go back to college ..enjoy!
I never understood in school or college why everyone says that school days are the best.I used to always envy my parents that they dont have to do any homework , dont have to worry about any exams etc.But now at this point in life I would give anything to go back in life to enjoy those days again.Wish I could build a time machine to go back and forth as I wanted.
Lots of wishes...but looking back at all the people who made me the person that I am today.. My parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, classmates, roommates....I am happy that I have so many memories to remember so many moments to treasure..Thank you all for all that.. and looking forward for all the memories to come..
